Bathroom Renovation Explained
Here are the steps for a basic bathroom renovation. Please refer to the “How it works” section above for preceding steps leading up to this point:

Permit & Approval
You only need a building permit if you’re altering the house’s structure or adding new elements. However, even minor changes for bathroom renovations in a Strata building require permission.

Demolition & Disposal
After the permit is obtained and blueprints are finished, we’ll start the process of demolishing the existing bathroom. This involves removing all outdated components and materials. Planning ahead makes this process easier.

Electrical & Plumbing
After the successful completion of the demolition phase, we will promptly begin installing essential plumbing and electrical fittings, ensuring a timely and effective completion of this phase.

Waterproofing
We apply special materials and sealants to create a barrier that keeps water out. This helps prevent any damage caused by moisture, making sure your renovated bathroom stays in good shape for a long time.

Flooring & Tiling
The nest step will be the installation of the tiles. This includes the tiles on the walls and the floors. In order to finish off the look, we tile the floor, as well as the walls of the shower and the space surrounding your bathtub.

Walls & Painting
